About to go to a new destination
OMG, I'm about to leave for a teacher party in Fayetteville in the dark. How will I be able to see my destination? Help me, God...please.

Favorite thing - attending anipal parties
My very favorite thing in the world is attending anipal parties. Anipals are animals on Twitter. We talk a lot as our pets and have GREAT 2-day parties called #pawpawties. We just finished a great party in Hurgada, Egypt.

Unexpected Event
Ahhhh. For me, coming home is always an adventure. I never know what horrors my black lab Ayla will have wreaked on my life, my house, my shoes, my books, .... you name it.
Today, my homecoming was more surprising than usual. There, in front of me as I walked into the kitchen, was the dog food container wide open, and a food bag chewed wide with a goodly amount of the food gone.
Out in the back yard were various sized mountains of vomit at which Ayla and her foster sister Tutu were happily feeding.
It took a while for me to comprehend the situation, having a graduate degree, as I do, in denial. No, no. It's not a river in Egypt.

Ed Begley
Probs: air pollution bad here, worse Beijing, etc.
Water pollution. Lots of ground water poisoned, toxins. 1969 river on fire. Fishermen can't fish.
Ozone pollution.
Hope: air is cleaner in LA. Ozone hole smaller ahead of schedule. Some rivers less polluted.
Problems are "challenges".
Living green creates jobs.
Clean tech sector of economy doing well.
$700 billion leaves US for gasoline.

Ahhh, the joy of being home.
I totally enjoyed getting away from home for a while. However, I must now face the music...er...math. Gotta get caught up.
Last GPS or cell phone
From this point heading North, no GPS or cell phone service is available until Dardenelle. I will be in the deep, dark and scary Oachita Nat'l Forest.

Test email to Radmath Blog
Getting ready to travel to Hot Springs early Monday morning. I want to keep a record, both written and photographic, of the experience.
I also want a place to keep a permanent record of my thoughts, feelings, experiences as a teacher.
I think Google Blogger will provide me a vehicle with which to do that.
How strange, I History Channel is on the television set behind me. Old television news footage of the Kennedy assassination is playing. The whole feeling is very eerie.
